Medford Thursday Market

Thursday Market moved to the beautifully renovated Hawthorne Park in 2016 from The Medford National Guard Armory, where it had enjoyed ten years of success and growth. The move was met with overwhelmingly rave reviews. The vast green space, water fountain spray park, dog parks, centralized location and shady trees made Hawthorne Park a no-brainer for our new home. There is unlimited space for vendor booths. We look forward to major growth in the upcoming years. You will find Master Gardeners & non-profit booths for your education; buskers & Mikey the Balloon Man for your entertainment; and tons of grassy area to lay down a blanket to enjoy your market delicacies and soak in the environment. (vary due to season and conditions.)

When Is It?
The Medford Market is open from March 2 through November 16, 2023 on Thursdays. We are located at the corner of Hawthorne &  E. Jackson Streets in Medford.

What Time
8:30AM –1:30PM

Please No Pets
As much as we appreciate people’s dedication to their pet, we respectfully ask that you do not bring them into the vendor areas of the market. Hawthorne Park is a public park with two dog run areas. Our doggie friends are welcome to pass through on the sidewalk areas, but please refrain from taking them into the vendor booth areas, as public and food safety are of the utmost concerns. Working service animals are welcome!

LOCATION

This market is located at the corner of Hawthorne & E. Jackson Streets, across Jackson from the newly renovated Medford Center and Tinseltown Movie Theater.

PARKING

A small parking lot is available on the park grounds but it can get quite tangled, so please be careful when attempting to park in this area. We recommend parking behind the Cinemark/Tinseltown theatre building at the Medford Center who are the generous benefactors of our overflow parking. Please do NOT park in their south parking lot along Jackson Street as it is dedicated for opening of TJMaxx. There is also residential parking in the surrounding area. We ask that you be respectful of our neighbors’ (business & residential) parking areas and property. We depend on their support throughout the season. We encourage as much ambulatory and pedal power as possible.
