Join us in a celebration of Mary Ellen’s tenure with the Rogue Valley Growers & Crafters Market on Tuesday, May 29 at the Ashland Armory. She's trading in her Market apron for her hiking boots, cycling helmet and rafting life vest.
We want to thank Mary Ellen for her many contributions over the years. She worked with over 500 vendors and 60 board members over her 12.5 years with RVGCM. She initiated new programs and events that improved the quality and overall enjoyment of Market for vendors and customers alike.
From launching our handy token system to initiating family-friendly programs and events such as the Kid’s Co-op Booth and annual RVGCM’s Kid’s Day in July, Mary Ellen's legacy will continue on.
Her commitment to the Farmers Market Movement extended to her participation in the League of Women Farmers and serving as a volunteer board member for the Oregon Farmers Market Association between 2007-2014.
Mary Ellen is the quintessential ‘Market Mamma’, opening her home, feeding people, helping care for their children, being a cheerleader and wanting the best for the Market as a whole.
We wish Mary Ellen a fond farewell and the best wishes for all her future adventures! We hope to see you all as we celebrate her last Market on Tuesday, May 29.
