Meet New Executive Director Jaimie Griffin

Rogue Valley Growers and Crafters Market is under new leadership. Meet Jaimie Griffin, new Executive Director for the Rogue Valley Growers and Crafters Market.

"The Rogue Valley Growers and Crafters Market is a vital ingredient to our local food system and community, a centerpiece in this community by connecting the farmer to consumer and fresh ingredients into our diets. This market has a deep sense of community roots that helps support our local economy while providing residents with fresh, locally produced fruit, vegetables, meats, baked goods, and much more. It's also a place where neighbor meets neighbor and where farmers can serve as food educators, reinvigorating how consumers shop and eat. I look forward to being able to make a positive impact on this organization and the community." Jaimie Griffin, Executive Director

Jaimie Griffin brings with her a multitude of experiences and talents cultivated before she stepped into this position. Previously, Jaimie was the Community Relations Director for a Senior Living Community in the valley. She helped to develop and stabilize this community from the construction phase into the opening. Before that, she acted as the Director of Marketing and Development for a nationally ranked Orthopedic group in the Seattle area, helping to grow and expand their practice from four clinic locations to seven.

Having grown up on a forestry farm in rural Washington state, she has a love for sustainable farming with a specific interest in agroforestry practices. With an educational background and professional experience in marketing and development, she is excited to incorporate her agricultural passions with her love of community involvement and leadership.

Jaimie and her family moved to the Rogue Valley over three years ago, and they love all the beauty and fun it has to offer. She enjoys spending time with her two children, riding her motorcycle, gardening, and doing anything and everything outdoors. She is a part of the Site Council at Roosevelt Elementary School, volunteers with The American Cancer Society, and loves being a part of this beautiful community.
